Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Lideum Inc. collects through lideum.com, how it is used and shared, and the rights and choices available to you.
Effective September 4, 2026
1. Scope
Lideum Inc. ("Lideum", "we", "us") is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Our registered address is 61 Greenpoint Ave, Suite 695, Brooklyn, NY 11222, USA.
This policy applies to lideum.com and the forms on it. It does not apply to any client website we have built or maintain, which is governed by that client's own privacy policy, and it does not govern personal information we process on a client's behalf under a services agreement, where the client is the controller and we act as a processor.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit the contact form we collect your name, your email address and the message you write. You may also provide a company name and a website address. If you contact us by email or telephone we collect the information contained in that correspondence.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time of the request in order to deliver the site and to protect it against automated abuse. Typefaces are served from this website rather than from a font service, so loading a page does not disclose your address to a third party.
Information collected with your consent. If you enable the analytics or advertising categories described in section 5, the providers listed in section 6 will collect information about your use of this site. None of that occurs unless you enable it.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data, and you should not submit any through the contact form.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your inquiry and correspond with you about it;
- evaluate whether we are suited to the work you describe, and prepare a proposal if so;
- operate, secure and maintain this website;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements;
- where you have enabled it, measure how the site is used and evaluate advertising.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use contact form submissions to add you to a marketing list.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following bases: consent, for the analytics, advertising and embedded content categories; legitimate interests, in responding to inquiries, securing the site and understanding demand for our services; steps prior to entering a contract, where your inquiry concerns engaging us; and legal obligation, where retention or disclosure is required of us.
7. International transfers
We are established in the United States and the providers above are predominantly United States based, so personal information you provide will be processed there. Where information is transferred from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, those transfers are made under the Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism offered by the relevant provider.
8. Retention
Contact form submissions and related correspondence are retained for as long as the inquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards in case it resumes, and are then deleted. Where an engagement follows, records are retained for the duration of the engagement and for the period required for tax, accounting and limitation purposes. Server logs are retained for a short period by our hosting provider. You may request deletion at any time.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted to our email provider over an encrypted connection and are then held in our business email system, protected by access controls and multi factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, and email in particular should not be treated as a confidential channel.
10. Your rights
Subject to your location and to applicable exemptions, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request its correction or deletion, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, to receive a portable copy, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, you may request that we disclose what personal information we collect, use and disclose, request its deletion or correction, and opt out of any sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CPRA. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where they are received.
To exercise any right, contact hello@lideum.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
11. Your privacy choices
You can review and change what runs on this site at any time. , or use the link in the footer of any page. Disabling a category prevents it from loading on subsequent page views; a script that has already executed in the current page cannot be recalled.
12. Children
This site is directed at businesses and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third party links
This site links to client websites, platform documentation and social media profiles operated by others. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above indicates when it was last revised. Where a change materially affects what is collected or how it is used, we will ask for your consent choices again rather than carry a previous answer forward.
